Probate
| What should I know about Probate? |
What is Probate? - Probate is the procedure used to transfer a person's assets when they die. Some assets pass automatically or outside of probate based on their character or how they were titled. There are different types of probate administration, including full administration, summary administration and ancillary administration.
Ancillary Administration - Additional Probate Administrations are required for real property that was owned outside the state of residence. This type of administration can be avoided by titling real property in your trust.
